How would you imagine a collection of surfboards named "404 Series"? A mistake? A "not found" HTML surf error? Two French brands have the answer.

All hand shaped surfboards are a work of art. Only an experienced craftsman can master the template, the rails, the channels, the tail shapes, the rocker and the whole symmetry of a board made for surfing.
However, an art gallery and a surf company have teamed up to develop something completely different - a limited edition of surfboards with famous oil paintings depicted on them.
The innovative series of collector's surfboards include diptychs and triptychs by Jan Davidsz De Heem (1606-1684), Hieronymus Bosch (1450-1516), and Jan van Huysum (1682-1749), Wally Wood (1927-1981), Aslan (1930-2014), Simon Marmion (1425-1489), and Fran├žois Boucher (1703-1770).
Boom-Art is art gallery located in Aix-en-Provence, France, exclusively dedicated to surfing and skateboarding. UWL Surfboards is a surfboard manufacturer established in Angoulins-Sur-Mer.
In the classy and arty "404 Series," buyers know that each board is individually numbered. All models have a limited 10-piece run and come with a certificate of authenticity.
