If you’re not from California you likely imagine the entire coast to be something on par with Baywatch. Blondes, muscle beach and sunny skies from San Diego on up north to the Golden Gate bridge and beyond. But the reality is California is one of the most diverse stretches of real estate in the world, and other than the crowds, it’s a surfer’s wet dream. Northern California and Southern California are practically different universes. And Central California, well it’s almost forgotten in the mix thanks to the assumption that the coast is divided in two. But this chilly little stretch is as wave rich as any, and if you ask the people that live and surf here they probably won’t complain about being California’s “forgotten coast.” More waves for them.
But wow, it really is beautiful here. These are the California waves you don’t always see but wouldn’t be disappointed wit
